​What is included in the complimentary life coaching session?
Ignite Your Light Coaching by Ignite Leadership360 offers anyone interested in seeing if life coaching is right for them a free 75-minue session. The session includes a solid hour of personal coaching from one of our Ignite Coaches, plus 15 minutes to discuss the different programs or packages. Complimentary sessions can be in person in one of our Delaware office or via Zoom. 

How is life coaching different than therapy?

How is life coaching different than therapy?
Traditionally, therapy looks backwards: how does what happened in the past affect you today? Coaching is future oriented: what changes can you make to your behavior and thought patterns today that will set you up for success in the future?
Additionally, therapy is based on a dependency model; you are dependent on your therapist to lead you and give you solutions. Coaching is bi-directional. We teach you to coach yourself in order to create lasting change and transformation.

No. We can provide life coaching to individuals, couples, and even organizations. 

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY LIFE COACHING SESSIONS?

How should I prepare for my life coaching sessions?
First and foremost, we ask that you be open to the process. Life coaching will challenge what you believe about yourself and about the world. You must be open to considering and accepting new ideas and new ways of thinking.
Feel free to identify areas of life you'd like to focus on or goals you'd like to achieve. However, don't feel like you have to. Even if you just know something's got to give, and you're not sure what, we'll work together to identify focus areas. ​

​CAN A LIFE COACH HELP ME WITH A SPECIFIC SHORT-TERM GOAL?

​Can a life coach help me with a specific short-term goal?
Yes. While most people work with a life coach to improve their overall life, a coach can also help you achieve a specific objective. We'll help you identify what internal thoughts or behaviors may be getting in the way of your success and identify how you can best proceed.
Don't be surprised if you want to keep going even after you achieve your goal. Many clients continue to work with their coach because they discover how much more there is to learn about themselves.
